Builder brands: Hiding your site from search engines
Everyone wants their website to be easily found online, which is why we have tools built into the editor to optimize your site's SEO and instructions for how to submit your website to search engines.
However, suppose you find yourself making significant design changes, updating duplicate or outdated content, or hosting gated content on your site, and you don't want your website to appear in Google search results. In that case, you can hide your website.
- Log in to your account via https://www.networksolutions.com/my-account/login.
- On the left side of the page, select Websites.

Note: Alternatively, if you have multiple website builder accounts, click Launch to proceed. - On the website builder dashboard, select Edit Site on the site you want to manage.

- Once inside, click the Manage option in the left-hand menu.

- Next, click the Advanced tab within the pop-up menu.

- A window will appear, and at the top of the window, you'll see a box that says, Hide site from search engines.

- Check the box and hit SAVE to hide your site while making changes.

- Finally, click Publish to ensure search engines do not index this site.

Note: Be sure to turn the site back to being visible and publish when you are finished making changes and would like your site to appear on search engines again.
