Shippo is an integrated software company that helps e-commerce businesses to incorporate shipping with multiple carriers through an API and web application. Constant Contact website users will now be able to utilize weight-based shipping with priorities like "Next Day, 2 Day, or Standard Shipping."

To sweeten the deal, Constant Contact website customers with upgraded accounts will now be able to utilize integrated shipping within their stores using Shippo! Using Shippo means you'll save time and make more money thanks to priority shipping options, print label creation, and updated order management processes!

Some of the features included with the Shippo integrated shipping experience are:

As a customer:

  • The store customer selects the carrier and shipping speed
  • Real-time calculation of shipping charges based on weight and destination
  • Easy to use, making checkout a seamless experience

 

As a store owner:

  • Create carrier shipping labels in the order processing area
  • View the customer’s shipping selection and validate or adjust speed and cost as needed

 

How to configure Shippo shipping in your store

Follow the steps listed below to configure your Shippo account:

How to create a Shippo account

  1. Log in to your Account Manager via https://www.networksolutions.com/my-account/login.
  2. Select Websites on the left menu, and you will be routed to a different tab where you can access your website editor.

    Note: Alternatively, if you have multiple website builder accounts, click Launch to proceed.
  3. Launch your website editor by choosing Edit Site.

  4. Activate integrated shipping by navigating to your store settings and selecting Advanced Features.

  5. Toggle the Integrated Shipping switch to activate this feature.

  6. Navigate to the Settings tab on the left and select the Advanced option at the top.

  7. Scroll down and select the Set up with Shippo button to start the setup process in the Shippo interface.

  8. On the new page, enter the details required, and select Sign up to continue.

  9. Enter your Billing Information, and select Continue.
     

    (You will not be charged for anything at this time. This is for future calculations.)

  10. Once you enter your details and billing information, be sure to select Allow Access to complete the account creation.

  11. Finally, close the tab to navigate back to your store.

How to set up a default package size

Once you have set up your Shippo account, navigate back to your account, where we will add your default package size. The integrated shipping tool will begin the process of estimating shipping costs based on this information.

  1. Within your Advanced Settings area, click Manage shipping settings. If you do not see the Manage Shippo settings button, refreshing the page should populate the correct buttons.

  2. In the new window that opens, enter the dimensions for the packaging size you plan to use the most. We advise basing this on your most common or popular items.  Once you have added your default package size, click Save to complete this process. Pro Tip: In the dropdown, we list various default package sizes available based on the most common boxes provided by shipping carriers. Selecting one of these options will automatically fill out the dimensions for you.

How to set up a shipping carrier

Once you have created your account and set up your default package size, you will need to set up the carriers you would like to provide as options to ship through. 
*USPS is set up automatically for domestic customers; you can update the other carriers later.

  1. Within your Advanced Settings tab, click Go to Shippo.

  2. From your Shippo account, select Carriers from the left navigation.

  3. On the Carriers page, use the toggles to choose which carriers you would like to ship through.

  4. If you would like to Add New carriers or enter an existing account (i.e., FedEx, UPS, or DHL), select the My Carrier Accounts tab to choose which carriers you would like to use.

How to set up a product weight

The last step to setting up Integrated Shipping is to enter the weights for each product you add to your store. To add product weights, first, you may want to review the process for Managing Products, which will cover how to add a product.

  1. From within the store on the Products page, click on one of your products to open the Edit Product page.

  2. Scroll to the bottom and enter the total weight of the product in the Weight field.

  3. Enter any additional product details as needed and choose Save and Publish.

 

How to manage shipping

Note: The entry of basic shipping settings is required.  Flat rates are used as a fallback for the store's customer charges.  For example, if a product's weight isn't set or experiences errors. The "free shipping at a certain order value" is still supported with integrated shipping.
  1. From the left navigation in your store, navigate to the Settings tab and under the Shipping Rate section, choose Flat Rate, then Edit.

  2. Add the minimum order amount to qualify for free shipping, the cost per additional item, and the cost for shipping the first item.

  3. Hit Save and publish changes to save the settings for shipping.
     
Note: You can change your default parcel size or disable Integrated Shipping at any time by pressing the Manage Shippo Settings button. You can also access your Shippo account at any time by pressing the Go To Shippo button.
