How to Create and Manage Alias Mailbox

Network Solutions makes it easy to create and manage email aliases with simple, step-by-step tools. An alias mailbox is an additional email address that directs all incoming messages to your main mailbox. Instead of creating a separate email account, an alias lets you use different email addresses while keeping everything in one inbox. It’s useful for privacy, organization, and managing multiple contact points without extra accounts.

Important: You cannot create an alias that duplicates another email address for the same domain.

Add an alias mailbox to your email address.

Note: The maximum number of email aliases you can add depends on your specific email package. Please refer to your package for the exact details.
  • The hosting package allows up to three alias mailboxes.
  • The Professional Email plan allows up to three alias mailboxes.
  • The Professional Email Plus plan allows up to 50 alias mailboxes.
  1. Log in to your account via https://www.networksolutions.com/my-account/login.
  2. On the left side of the page, select Professional Email.

  3. On the Mailboxes tab, click the Manage button next to the mailbox to which you wish to add an alias.

  4. Click the Add Alias button in the Aliases section to create an alias.

  5. Once the Add Alias window appears, enter the alias you want in the provided field.

    To create an additional alias, click on + Add Another Alias, and a new field will show.
  6. Once done, click Save.

 

Delete an alias mailbox from your email.

  1. Log in to your account via Account Login Links.
  2. On the left side of the page, select Professional Email.

  3. On the Mailboxes tab, click the Manage button next to the mailbox to which you wish to delete an alias.

  4. Click the trash bin icon on the Alias section to delete the alias email.

A: Yes. Log in to your Network Solutions account, open Professional Email, and go to the Mailboxes tab. Select the mailbox you want, click Manage, then under Aliases, choose Add Alias. Enter the alias name (add more if needed) and click Save to complete.
