Hosted Exchange Migration Steps

Overview

To have a successful migration, there are things you must do prior to and on the day of the migration. This article will provide all steps you need to take.

Before Your Migration

We will be updating your Advanced DNS records prior to the migration if:

  • Network Solutions® is your DNS provider (you manage your DNS inside your Network Solutions® account).
  • AND
  • The Advanced DNS settings in your Network Solutions® account currently point to your Hosted Exchange email service.

You will need to update your Advanced DNS Settings if:

  • Network Solutions® is not your DNS provider (you can’t manage your DNS inside your Network Solutions® account).
  • OR
  • The Advanced DNS settings in your Network Solutions® account are not pointed to your Hosted Exchange email service.
