Remove Flash Elements from your Website that No Longer Function
Flash components are commonly added as a Site Add-On. To delete a Site Add-On:
-
In the Site Builder tool, click the Delete Items icon.
-
There are now checkboxes next to each item that you can delete. Select the items you want to delete, ensuring that only the items you want to delete are selected.
-
Then, click the Done icon.
Note: For this change to take effect on your live website, you must publish your site from within the Site Builder Tool.
Resolve Template Issues by Republishing Your Website
Many of the Site Builder templates contain website headers with Flash elements. You will need to republish your website to remove headers with Flash that no longer work. If your site is already published, but now you have changes to it, you can edit the site and then repeat this procedure to update the published site.
-
In the Site Builder tool, click the Publish to Web icon.
-
If this is the first time you publish your site, follow the instructions in the Publish Site window for naming and publishing your site. These instructions are specific to your online community and reflect its requirements. Site Builder automatically uses your specified settings if you are republishing a site. Click Publish now! to confirm.
