iPage: Exchange setup - Outlook 2010
How to Manually Create a New Profile for Outlook to Access Your Exchange Mailbox
You will need your Microsoft Exchange Server, full email address, and your email password. You can find these settings by logging in to your Mail Central under Exchange Setup.
- Go to your
Window's Control Panel. - Go to
Mail(you may have to perform a search inside of your Control Panel). - Click
Email Accounts. - Click
New. - Select
Email Account. - Click
Next. - Select
Manually Configure Server Settings or Additional Server Types. - Select
Microsoft Exchange or Compatible Service. - Click
Next. - Enter your
Microsoft Exchange Server(obtained from Mail Central). - Check
Use Cached Exchange Mode. - Enter your
User Name(obtained from Mail Central). - Click
More Settings. - Click
Advanced.Use Cached Exchange Mode:CheckedDownload Shared Folders:Checked (optional)Download Public Folder Favorites:Checked.
- Click
Apply. - Click
Connection. - Check
Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP. - Click
Exchange Proxy Settingsand fill out the following in the window that appears:URL to Connect to my Proxy Server for Exchange:https://exchange2013.networksolutions.comConnect Using SSL Only:CheckedOn Fast Networks, Connect Using HTTP First, Then Connect Using TCP/IP:CheckedOn Slow Networks, Connect Using HTTP First, Then Connect Using TCP/IP:CheckedUse this Authentication When Connecting to My Proxy Server for Exchange:Basic Authentication
- Click
OK. - Click
OK(closes the previous window). - Click
Check Name. A window should appear within a few moments. - In that new window, type in your Exchange Mailbox login credentials:
User NamePassword
- Click
Next. - Click
Finish. - Click
OK.
