Ecommerce Online Store - Design - FAQ Design

Overview

This feature allows you to build a Frequently Asked Question list for customers visiting your site. Once you've generated your FAQs, you can place them on a Custom Page and then link to that page using a hyperlink.

Creating a FAQ Design

1. Click the FAQ Design button on the Design tab. This will open the FAQ Design Manager.

2. Specify a name for you new FAQ and click the Create & Edit FAQ button. This will open the FAQ Editor.

3. Enter the text for your question and answer in the provided text boxes.

4. Specify whether the FAQ will be enabled.

5. When you are satisfied with your question and answer, click the Create FAQ button to create the FAQ.

Adding the FAQ to the Storefront

The FAQs can be added to a custom page using the nsScript dropdown. A link to the custom page then can be added anywhere on your storefront. Add an FAQ to the Storefront by following the steps below.

1. Go to the Pages tab in the Control Panel and click the Custom Pages link on the left side.

2. Enter a new page name called "FAQS" and click the Add New Page button. This will open the Custom Page Editor.

3. In the Custom Page editor, under the Page Content text box, enter any desired introductory text.

4. Click the nsScript drop-down and select your desired FAQ.

5. Click the Insert button.

6. When you are finished adding your FAQs, click the Save or Save & Return button to save the Custom Page.

7. You can add a hyperlink to your new FAQ page into any section that accepts html links.
