  • Type: This refers to the method used to send and receive email messages, as well as where the email messages will be stored.
  • Storage: This is the maximum amount of storage for a mailbox. If either of these conditions are met (size or message count), the mailbox is considered full and cannot receive further incoming messages. Clear out your mailbox to receive incoming messages again.
  • Sending: This is the maximum number of messages that can be sent within an hour, and within a single day. If you exceed these limits, your mailbox may be temporarily suspended.
  • Receiving: We currently don't impose any limits on incoming email so long as there is enough storage space to receive additional messages.
  • Attachments: When attaching files onto outgoing emails, this is the maximum total size of all the attachments included within each email.
  • Recipients: This is the maximum number of recipients that a single email can be sent to.
Important: The 32 MB attachment limit for Roundcube also includes any MIME (Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) information related to the message. For this reason, you may NOT be able to attach a 32 MB file, and the actual attachment size limit may be lower while using the drive for Google Workspace and Office 365 is a must if you are sending larger files.

What file types can't be sent or received through our email servers

To prevent spammers and hackers from spreading viruses and spam throughout the network, our company has blocked the following file types:

  • .bat
  • .btm
  • .cmd
  • .com
  • .cpl
  • .dll
  • .exe
  • .lnk
  • .msi
  • .pif
  • .prf
  • .reg
  • .scr
  • .vbs
  • .url

If you need to transfer one of these file types, use FTP to transfer the file. That way, the file reaches the intended recipient without using our mail servers.
