Troubleshooting: Messages to Gmail users bounce back

If your email messages to Gmail users bounce back, check the message to see why. In most cases, if an email you are sending is bouncing back, you can resolve it by adding a Sender Policy Framework (SPF) record.

To add an SPF record to your account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account via https://www.networksolutions.com/my-account/login.
  2. Click Domains from the left navigation menu.

    Note: If you have multiple domains, select the domain that you want to add an SPF to, then tap Manage to proceed with step 3.
  3. Scroll down and click Advanced Tools, then tap Manage beside the Advanced DNS Records section.

  4. Click + Add Record.

  5. In this section, provide the following details:

     Add Advanced DNS Record
     
    1. Select TXT in the Type drop-down.
    2. Choose a host in the Refers to drop-down. If you select Other Host from the option, you will be asked to enter the hostname.
    3. Enter the TXT Value. Choose your package below to find the SPF Record.
       
      • Professional Email, Professional Email Plus, Cloud Mail, and Business Email: v=spf1 include:spf.registeredsite.com include:spf.cloudus.oxcs.net -all
      • Google Workspace: v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com -all
      • Hosted Exchange: v=spf1 include:hostaccount.com -all
      • Microsoft 365: v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all
         
  6. Tap Add to complete.
