How to verify your ID with Jumio

Jumio is a digital verification service that checks your identity through your ID and a face scan, and to verify your ID with Jumio, you start by opening the link in your email, agreeing to proceed, and using your device to upload the front and back of your ID along with a selfie, and once you submit them, the system will confirm the upload.

Important:
  • This process is time sensitive. It is highly encouraged to have your IDs ready before completing the process.
  • The ID verification link expires 15 minutes after it is opened.

How to verify your ID

Follow the steps below to verify your ID.

  1. Check your email for the one-time link sent to verify your ID using the Jumio platform.
  2. Copy and paste the link to your browser.
  3. Tap the I consent checkbox to agree and accept data-sharing, then click Start to proceed to the next phase.

  4. If you’re using a desktop, click Choose issuing country/region, then Select ID type to proceed with verifying your ID.

  5. Alternatively, to make things efficient, you can also click Use mobile phone for a couple of options:

    1. Scan QR code: scan the QR code to access the camera application and use your mobile device to verify your ID.
    2. Send link by email: enter your active email address to access the camera application through a link and use your mobile device to scan and verify your ID.
       
  6. The camera application will ask for the FRONT and BACK sides of your ID.
     
    Note: Once the camera is in focus, pointing to the ID, it will automatically capture the photo for you.
  7. After scanning your ID, the application will ask you to take a selfie.
  8. Upload both front and back images, including your selfie, to the Jumio system.
  9. Once complete, the page will automatically tell you that your entries have been uploaded successfully.

Review

You can verify your ID with Jumio by using the one-time link sent to your email and completing a quick set of steps that confirm your identity. Once you open the link, you agree to proceed, select your ID type, and use your phone or computer to scan the front and back of your ID. You then take a selfie to complete the check. After you upload your photos, the page will show that your information has been received and uploaded successfully.
