Builder brands: Creating an email campaign

Get started with email marketing by creating a custom Email Campaign that will look great no matter what device your mailing list subscribers use.

  1. From within your WP Admin, begin by selecting Creative Email from the left navigation on your screen, click I agree and let's get started!

  2. If you're not signed in, it will ask you to log in to your Creative Mail account or sign up.

  3. Click the Create your first campaign button to launch into the email creator.

  4. Select the type of email you would like to send out in the navigation on the left.

  5. Pick a template on the right side based on your website and then click Next. You can edit it later. Don't worry if you want to customize the preset colors. You'll be able to change these while editing your campaign!

  6. You can now add, remove and rearrange sections in the email creator to produce a professional-looking campaign ready for your custom text and images!

    Pro tip: You can change what displays in each section by using the toggle buttons on the right to toggle each element on and off. If you accidentally toggle an element off, toggle it back on to display the content.

How to change the campaign appearance

  1. Change the email campaign style by clicking the Appearance tab.
  2. Customize the colors within the Colors tab. This will allow you to switch between a light and dark theme, set the overall theme colors by clicking on the swatch colors, and choose if the background between the two sections will alternate.

  3. Use the Fonts tab to change the fonts used throughout your email by selecting one of our preset font combinations or creating your custom selection.

  4. Select Styles to change the overall design of the layout.

  5. Preview how your email will look on a phone, tablet, or computer by choosing the Preview button at the top.

How to send or schedule your campaign

  1. Once the email is ready to send, choose Next in the upper right corner.

  2. Next, select the contacts or email labels to which you would like to send the email, then click Next.

  3. Enter the Subject Line of the email, the Sender Name that will display, the name of your email campaign (this will only show on your Email Marketing dashboard), and the Preview Text that will show after a subject in a recipient's inbox. Optional: Within the Advanced Settings, customize which email addresses you want as the Sender and Reply-To contact.

  4. Finally, you can Save and Close the email creator or move on to Sending and Scheduling.
