Marketing: How to Create and Manage Email Campaign Automations

Creating Email Campaign Automations
If you're new to creating email automations, don't worry; we offer ready-made templates. Follow the steps below to set up your Email Campaign Automations.
- After logging into your eCommerce account, navigate to the left menu, then click on Marketing, and select Email Marketing.
- Next, select Automations from the options.
- To create your first automated email as a welcome series, click the Create a Welcome Series button. If you prefer to start from scratch or explore other template options, click the Try Something Else button.
- If you have recent automations, you can create your next email automations by clicking the Create Automations button in the Recent Automations table.
- If you are on the All-Automations page, you can create your next email automations by clicking the New Automations button.
- If you have recent automations, you can create your next email automations by clicking the Create Automations button in the Recent Automations table.
- To start editing the template, click the Start button.
- Click the Apply button after selecting a template on the first tile to trigger an automated email.
- You can use a Text Editor or a Creative Editor to draft the email automations you will be sending.
- It will look like the image below if you select Text Editor.
- You will have several options to create a visually stunning email for your brand if you select the Creative Editor.
- It will look like the image below if you select Text Editor.
- Click Save and Close.
- Click the Apply button.
- Set a duration for how long you should wait before sending the next email automations in the series on the next tile, then click the Apply button.
- Proceed with editing the remaining tiles in the series.
Note: You can always remove a tile in the template by selecting the tile and clicking the Delete button.
- To save the changes you made in the template make sure to click Save always on the upper right portion of the page.
Editing Email Campaign Automations
Follow the steps below to help you edit the email automations you created.
- Click Marketing on the left menu, then select Email Marketing once you’re inside your eCommerce account.
- Next, select the Automations from the options.
- Click the Edit button after selecting the email automations you want to modify.
If you are on the All-Automations page, hover to the far right of the table then click the three vertical dots icon. Select Edit from the drop-down menu.
- Click the Edit Email button after you select the tiles that you want to modify.
- Don’t forget to click the Save & Close button when you’re done modifying the email.
- Click the Apply button.
- On the upper right of the page, click Save to save the changes you made in the template.
Activating Email Campaign Automations
Ready to set your email campaign on autopilot? Activating your email automations is the final step to reaping the benefits of your efforts. To ensure a smooth launch, simply complete the checklist provided. Keep an eye on the notification bell, which will highlight any remaining actions needed to finalize your email automations setup.
Deleting Email Campaign Automations
Follow the steps below to delete a drafted or activated email automations.
- Select the email automations you want to remove, then click the Delete button.
If you are on the All Automations page, the three vertical dots icon is invisible until you hover to the further right of the table. Select Delete from the drop-down menu.
Note: For active email automations, you will have an Archive option. When you archive your automations, your automations is completely disabled, and no new contacts can enter the automations. - Click Delete on the pop-up.
