Ecommerce Online Store - Inventory - Warehouses
Overview
If you are using drop shipping to sell product you can create a list of warehouses that your products are shipped from. In the Warehouse Manager you can associate certain products with those warehouses and set specific notifications to be sent upon order.
Note: You can create an unlimited number of warehouses.
The Warehouse Manager is found by clicking on the Inventory tab of the Control Panel and selecting Warehouses.

Creating a Warehouse
To create a warehouse, enter the name of your warehouse in the Warehouse Name text box and click on Create & Edit. This will open the Edit Warehouse Details page.
Editing Your Warehouse
In the Warehouse Edit page you can enable and rename your warehouse, select associated products, specify a Warehouse Email and the types of information sent to the warehouse, and specify if the warehouse will be a shipping origin for its associated products (Drop shipping).
Note: If you want order notification emails sent to your warehouse, you MUST enable the warehouse in the Control Panel. An enabled warehouse will receive an order when the payment status of the order is moved to "Payment Received".
Follow the steps below to assign available products to your warehouse.
1. Click in the checkbox next to the Product name in the Available Products list.
2. If you have many products, the list will be paged, as seen in the sample selector above. You can scroll through the pages or click on a page number to go directly to that page. There is also a Search field that will display a list of Available Product(s) based on the search term entered.
3. Click the right arrow button to add it to the Selected Products list.
4. Repeat this procedure for each Product you want to include in your discount. To remove a Product from the Selected Products list, simply reverse the procedure.
5. Click the checkbox next to a Product in the Selected Products list or enter a search term to display a list from which to select a Product.
6. Click the left arrow button to remove it from the Selected Products list.
Warehouse Email and Notifications
You can specify one or several email address for the Warehouse, as well as what information is sent with an order notification. In the case where an order includes products from multiple warehouses, multiple notification emails are sent, which are warehouse-specific.
Warehouse as Shipping Origin (Drop Shipping)
You can specify the warehouse as a shipping origin for any of the items associated with it. This will help make the shipping estimates for your customers with multiple product orders more reliable.
Follow the steps below to assign a Warehouse as a Shipping Origin.
1. Select the Shipping Origin checkbox.
2. Enter the address of the Warehouse.
3. Click the Save or Save & Return button.
