How Do I Get Started with WordPress?

Note: After you have purchased WordPress, please log out of your account. It may take 10 to 15 minutes for the order to process.
Getting Started with WordPress
Please follow the steps below to get started:
- Login to your Account Manager via https://www.networksolutions.com/my-account/login.
- On the left side of the page, click WordPress.
Note: If you have multiple WordPress packages, click the Manage button beside the package you wish to open.
- Next, click the Setup WordPress button, then follow the WordPress Setup Wizard.
- First, describe your role, rate your comfort level using WordPress, and choose the primary purpose for your site. Then, hit Continue.
- Next, select a domain to associate with your WordPress site. You can either use an existing domain or a temporary domain that you can update later on. Hit Continue.
- Lastly, enter the information required to create your WordPress account, such as your Sitename, Username, Email address, and Password. Note that you will use this information when logging into your WordPress dashboard. Hit Continue.
- Wait for a few minutes for your WordPress Account to set up.
Note: If you used a temporary domain while setting up your WordPress account, you must assign a domain to your WordPress website. Within your WordPress Control Panel, click on Assign/Edit Your Domain, then follow the instructions below:Steps to Assign/Edit a Domain

Click the Assign New button.

Select a domain and where you want it to point to, then hit Select.

Confirm that your changes were made.

Click the Back to Web WordPress Control Panel button to return to the control panel and continue with the steps below.

- First, describe your role, rate your comfort level using WordPress, and choose the primary purpose for your site. Then, hit Continue.
- Once you have set up your WordPress account, you can log in to your WordPress dashboard. Under Launch WordPress Dashboard, click the Go button.
- On the WordPress login page, enter your username and password—the same credentials you used to set up your account. Once logged in, you can now start building your WordPress website. Check out WordPress support guides for more information on how to build your website.
