Why is this important?
Updating your platform will allow us to continue providing you with secure service that improves performance. This includes updates to the email settings in your email applications and changes to the products and services currently offered.
What do I need to do?
There are two phases: the platform update and then the platform migration. Visit each phase to learn more.
Platform update
Beginning June 30, 2022, you were required to take an additional step when making updates, such as adding a domain name, managing an email address, or updating your spam filter. Any updates to your Hosted Exchange Services require you to log in to your Boundary Defense Control Panel and make the changes there as well to avoid interruptions with your email.
Platform migration
In September 2022, you were migrated to your new platform with an upgraded control panel. This platform does not require you to take the additional step any longer.
For the migration, there are a few resources that will guide you through this process and answer all your questions. The most important thing you will need to do is update your Advanced DNS records and email software for the migration. Visit the Hosted Exchange migration steps for the required steps you need to take before and on the day of the migration.
