    • <FC-accountId>.serverdata.net (e.g., FC-1044286.serverdata.net)
  • Outlook licenses – We will no longer offer individual Outlook licenses. You will need to purchase a license for every mailbox in your subscription at the time of your migration.
  • Policy-based encryption – This is changing from MessageLabs/Symantec to Encrypted Email Gateway.
  • Storage - 1GB and 3GB mailboxes will no longer be available. All users will now have 100GB of storage for each mailbox.

Q: What products and services are no longer being offered?

A: The products and services being discontinued are:

  • Third-party archiving (Sonian is still offered) – This service will end on the day of your migration.
  • Active Directory Sync – This service will end the day of your migration.
  • Additional 1GB of storage – This storage will no longer be offered or billed.
  • Blackberry – This service will no longer be offered or billed.
  • Dedicated SharePoint – The site will be copied to a new location on the day of your migration. The old site will remain online until the new site content and functionality are working or deemed no longer work.

  • Websites – This service ended June 30, 2022.

Q: What if I want to keep using my discontinued services?

A: You will need to find another provider for the discontinued services that you want to keep using.

Q: How can I move my hosted DNS to another provider?

A: For help moving your DNS to another provider, contact the DNS registrar and advise them that you need to move your DNS to them.

Q: I have a website. What do I do?

A: Websites will no longer be offered. You must move your website to another package before your Hosted Exchange is migrated.

Q: What if I have third-party archiving?

A: For help with possible options, please get in touch with us.

Q: What if I need to use Active Directory Sync?

A: This product will no longer be offered.

Q: I have Hosted SharePoint. What will happen?

A: If you have Hosted SharePoint (a different product than Dedicated SharePoint), we will migrate your site to the new platform, and you will have the opportunity to test it. Once you have verified the site functionality, we will perform a delta sync to capture any changes made to the original site during this period. After the delta sync, we will set your original site to read-only.

Q: Will I have to make changes to my Hosted SharePoint?

A: You may need to make changes. As part of the migration, your Hosted SharePoint URL will change. Any items (such as flows) that use your SharePoint URL will need to be changed to the new URL. In addition to this, some of the Fab40 templates and Bamboo may not work as support for those previously ended.

Q: What if I have policy-based encryption?

A: Log into MessageLabs/Symantec and export your policies before your migration date. After your migration, you must re-create your policies in the Intermedia portal. Please refer to the following guide: Encrypted Email Gateway guide if you need more assistance.

Q: What will happen if I can’t find another provider?

A: Hosted DNS will go offline on June 30, 2022. All other services will stop functioning at 8 PM ET on the day of your migration.
