How to Manage Tabs in Cloud Mail

Before you know it, an overflowing inbox can become a source of stress and inefficiency. Cloud Mail's strong solution against email overload, meanwhile, is found in Tabs. Learning how to truly manage tabs in Cloud Mail will help you shift your inbox into a successfully organized, streamlined workspace so that significant messages get delivered where you want them, not lost in the shuffle.

How to Enable Tabs

Use the following steps to enable Tabs in your Cloud Mail.

  1. Sign in to your Cloud Mail in your internet browser. For example, enter mail.yourdomain.ext into the address bar of your browser.
  2. In the upper right corner, click on the gear icon.
    Inside Cloud Mail, click on Settings icon

  3. On the bottom part, select Inbox categories.

  4. Tick the checkbox depending on which tab you wish to enable, as seen in the image below.

  5. You may also create an additional category by ticking the checkbox under the new category fields. A new tab named VIP has been added as an example.

  6. Select Save.
    Click Save

  7. Once done, all Tabs should be visible.

How to Assign Incoming Emails from Inbox to Tabs

Use the following steps to begin assigning emails to each tab created.

  1. Click on Inbox, which is found on the left side panel of your screen.

  2. Select a specific email from your Inbox by dragging the email out from the Inbox to a tab in the tabs bar. For example, the email in the Inbox found in the screenshot below will be dragged out from the Inbox to the VIP tab.

  3. Once completed, you will receive a pop-up message. Click on Move all messages.

  4. Moving forward, all incoming emails from that specific sender will be received inside this category.
    New emails will show in the category from the specific sender.

How to Disable Tabs

Use the following steps to disable Tabs in your Cloud Mail.

  1. Simply hover your mouse over any tab and right-click on it.
  2. Once the Configure Categories pop up, select Disable Categories found on the bottom part.

  3. After disabling, all emails stored in each tab will be moved to the Inbox.
