How to Set Up Microsoft 365 in Apple Mail on Desktop

You can set up Microsoft 365 in Apple Mail to access your email, contacts, and calendar directly on your Mac, making it easier to manage everything in one place. You can use your Mac Mail, Contacts, and Calendar apps to connect your Microsoft 365 account using Mac OS X 10.10 or later versions. How to Set Up a Microsoft 365 Account

  1. On your computer, open your Mail app. You have the following options:
    • A Welcome page begins if it is your first time setting up an email account. Proceed to step 2.
    • If you have previously created email accounts, click the Mail tab on the upper left corner, then select Add Account.

  2. Select Exchange, then click the Continue button.

  3. Enter your Name, Microsoft 365 Email Address, and Password. Next, click Sign In.

  4. Click Sign In again to confirm Microsoft can locate your account information and email address.

  5. The Microsoft 365 login screen will appear. Re-enter your Microsoft 365 Email and Password, then click Sign In.

    Note: You may be asked to grant permission to Microsoft 365 when you log in. Tap Consent on behalf of your organization, then Accept to continue.
  6. Check the apps you want to use with your account. You have the following options: Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Reminders, and Notes.

  7. Click Done.
