How to Manage Appointment Notifications
In the calendar settings, you can set how you want to receive notifications. Click the Settings icon beside your initials, then select All Settings. Go to Notifications, scroll down to Email notifications, and mark the appropriate checkbox.
How to Answer an Invitation in the Notification Area
To answer an invitation in the notification area, follow these steps:
- Once logged in to Cloud Mail, click on the Notifications icon
in the menu bar.
- To answer the meeting invitation, click Accept, Maybe, or Decline under Invitations.
- If you choose Accept or Maybe, the appointment will appear on your calendar.
- If you select Decline, the appointment will still appear on your calendar with a strikethrough.
- You can change the confirmation status by clicking on the appointment in the calendar, then clicking the horizontal ellipsis beside the Decline button.
How to Answer an Email Invitation
To answer an appointment email invitation, follow these steps:
- Once logged in to Cloud Mail, open an email with a meeting invitation.
- To answer the meeting invitation, click Accept, Maybe, or Decline.
- If you choose Accept or Maybe, the appointment will appear on your calendar.
- If you select Decline, the appointment will still appear on your calendar with a strikethrough.
- You can change the confirmation status by clicking the horizontal ellipsis beside the Decline button.
