E-Commerce Online Store - Design Overview

This article provides guidance for customers using the legacy E-commerce product to customize and manage their online store’s design. It covers how to select and modify product layout designs, manage overall site design through templates, columns, colors, and logos, and highlights additional advanced design options available in Pro E-commerce packages, such as custom email, form, and invoice layouts. On the design page, you can select your Product Layout Design and manage your Site Design.

Product Layout Design

The Product Layout design allows you to customize the way your customers see your products in your store. You can choose one of the provided layouts as your active product layout.

The Pro E-commerce package has the ability to clone and edit the pre-designed product layouts, or create new product layout designs using the advanced editor.

Site Design

The Site Design page allows you to manage the look of your site. Your design options include:

• Templates - Select a new template for your site from the list of pre-designed templates.
• Columns - Add or edit new content to your site’s left and right columns, such as the Featured Products module.
• Colors, Fonts, and General Style Settings - Change the colors, fonts and style settings for your store regardless of what template you have selected.
• Storefront and Invoice Logos - Upload your Storefront & Invoice logos or create a new one.

The Pro E-commerce package has additional design options and the ability to create new site designs.

• Images - Manage the images used in your current site design.
• Header and Footer - Create your own custom header and footer using the advanced editor.
