How to Block External Images in Cloud Mail
Have you ever thought about the process that enables the viewing of those pictures in your Cloud Mail? Most of the time these pictures are sourced from external servers which can be a great threat to security. Let’s learn how do we block external images in Cloud Mail so that the security of the emails is enhanced.

How to Update Your Security Settings
- Log in to your email via mail.domain.ext. For example, if your domain name is example.com, you will need to enter mail.example.com in any browser.
- Click the Settings icon on the upper-right portion of the page.
- On the drop-down menu, click on All settings.
- On the Settings page, click Security on the left navigation menu.
- Go to External images in email and click the arrow.
- You will have the following options:
- Always show external images – Tick the radio button if you want externally linked images to be displayed and loaded in your emails.
- Ask before showing external images – Tick the radio button if you want to be asked before an externally linked image should be displayed in your emails.
- Always show external images for the following senders – Enter the specific sender(s) email address inside the empty box to load externally linked images that come from them.
