Recovery email makes getting back into your account easier by sending a verification email to your recovery address. You can also make your account even more secure by setting up a security PIN, turning on two-step verification, and adding a trusted phone number.

How to Set Up a Recovery Email

Below are steps to set up your Account Manager Recovery Email.

1. Log in to your Account Manager via https://www.networksolutions.com/my-account/login
2. If you have set up 2-Step Verification, you will see a screen where you must enter your verification code.
3. Depending on what security measures still need to be set up on your account, you will get screens to set them up, such as screens for setting up a security pin, trusted phone, or recovery email.
4. If you get an Additional Security screen like the one in the image below, you can enter the needed information or set up recovery options later by clicking SKIP. You can opt-out up to three times without setting up recovery options, but the system will require you to set them up the third time.

How to Update Recovery Email

1. Log in to your Account Manager via https://www.networksolutions.com/my-account/login.
2. Click the drop-down arrow beside your user profile on the upper right corner of the Account Manager home page, then select My Profile.

3. In the Security section, click CHANGE next to Recovery Email.

4. Input your new recovery email and click the NEXT button to proceed to the next step.

5. Enter the verification code sent to your new recovery email address, then click SAVE.
