How to Keep a Copy of Emails on the Server on Mobile Devices

  1. Navigate to your Settings icon and open it by pressing the button.
  2. From the Settings page, select Accounts and backup.

  3. Select Manage accounts.

  4. Select the email account that you want to update the email settings.
  5. Under the Incoming server settings page, click the Delete emails from server drop-down menu.

  6. From the drop-down menu, select Never.

iOS Device

Follow the steps below on how to configure your iPhone or iPad to keep a copy of emails on the server.

Important: The steps below use iOS version 17.
  1. Navigate to your Settings icon and open it by pressing the button.
  2. Scroll down and select Mail.

  5. Click on Advanced at the bottom part of the page.

  6. In the Advanced page, find the INCOMING SETTINGS section. Then, press the Delete from server option.

  7. Select Never. Once the blue checkmark icon shows, this means that you have successfully updated the settings.
