How to Manage Custom Nameservers

Custom Nameservers or Private Nameservers allow you to brand your domain with your business's name. It masks the relations you have with your hosting provider. Note that your hosting provider will not be listed in the WHOIS database when you set up custom nameservers, as it will reflect your custom setup instead. You can find the domain registrar in WHOIS, which may be different from your actual web host, to ensure a layer of privacy and branding for your online presence. You still have the option to revert to Web.com's default nameservers if necessary.

It's important to note that your hosting provider will not be listed in the WHOIS database when using custom nameservers, as the information in the nameserver field reflects your custom setup. You can find your domain registrar in the WHOIS database, which may differ entirely from your actual web host, ensuring a layer of privacy and branding for your online presence.
