Cloud Mail Task Management: A Step-by-Step Guide

Efficiently managing your Cloud Mail task is crucial for staying organized and on top of your to-do list.

Important: This article applies to customers with Cloud Mail. To determine your email version, see How Do I Determine My Email Platform?

To mark a pending/undone task as Done, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your email via mail.domain.ext. For example, if your domain name is example.com, you will need to enter mail.example.com in any browser.
  2. On the top-left corner, click on the hamburger icon.

  3. Select Tasks, and the tasks page will show.
    In Apps, select Tasks

  4. Select a task in the Tasks column.
  5. In the task toolbar, click on the Done icon.

  6. A confirmation message will show that the selected task is now marked as Done.

To move a task to another folder, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your email via mail.domain.ext. For example, if your domain name is example.com, you will need to enter mail.example.com in any browser.
  2. On the top-left corner, click on the hamburger icon.

  3. Select Tasks, and the tasks page will show.
    in the Apps, select Tasks

  4. Select a task in the Tasks column.
  5. Click on the More Actions icon in the task toolbar.

  6. Select Move in the drop-down menu.
    Select Move

  7. Once the Move page shows, select a folder to which you wish to move this task.
    Select the folder then click Move
     
    Important: If no different folder exists, you may need to create one. For more information, see How to Add a Task List in Cloud Mail.
  8. Once done, click on the Move button, and the task will be moved. You can also drag and drop the task directly to the destination folder of your choice.

To import a task, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your email via mail.domain.ext. For example, if your domain name is example.com, you will need to enter mail.example.com in any browser.
  2. On the top-left corner, click on the hamburger icon.

  3. Select Tasks, and the tasks page will show.
    In Apps, select Tasks

  4. Select a task folder where you want to import the task. Then, click on the Actions icon.
    Select Task folder then click on Actions icon

  5. Select Import.

  6. Once the Import from file page shows, click on the Upload file button.
    Click Upload file

  7. Select the file you wish to import depending on where you saved it from your computer.
    Important: The file you wish to import should be in an iCalendar format.
  8. After selecting, click on the Import button, and the task will be successfully imported.

Follow the steps below to export a single task or export all tasks from a folder.

  1. Log in to your email via mail.domain.ext. For example, if your domain name is example.com, you will need to enter mail.example.com in any browser.
  2. On the top-left corner, click on the hamburger icon.

  3. Select Tasks, and the tasks page will show.
    In Apps, select Tasks

  4. Select a task that you wish to export in the Tasks column.
  5. In the task toolbar, select the More Actions icon.
    click on More Actions icon

  6. Select Export.

  7. Once the Export selected page shows, click on the Export button.
    Click Export

  8. The selected task will be downloaded and saved on your computer in an iCalendar format.

    To export all tasks from a folder:
    1. Select a task folder.
    2. Click on the Actions icon next to it.
      Click on Actions icon

    3. Once the Export selected page shows, click on the Export button.
      Click Export

    4. All tasks inside this folder will be downloaded and saved on your computer in an iCalendar format.

To print a task, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your email via mail.domain.ext. For example, if your domain name is example.com, you will need to enter mail.example.com in any browser.
  2. On the top-left corner, click on the hamburger icon.

  3. Select Tasks, and the tasks page will show.
    In Apps, select Tasks

  4. Select a task that you wish to export in the Tasks column.
  5. In the task toolbar, select the More Actions icon.
    Click on More Actions icon

  6. Click on the Print button.
    Click on the Print option

  7. A printing page will show. You may tweak the print settings depending on your choice.

  8. Once done, click on Print, and the task will be printed.

To delete a task, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your email via mail.domain.ext. For example, if your domain name is example.com, you will need to enter mail.example.com in any browser.
  2. On the top-left corner, click on the hamburger icon.

  3. Select Tasks, and the tasks page will show.

    In Apps, select Tasks

  4. Select a task that you wish to delete in the Tasks column.
  5. In the task toolbar, click on the Delete icon.
    Click the Delete icon

  6. Click the Delete button to confirm the deletion.
    Click Delete

  7. The task has been successfully deleted.
