How to View Tasks in Cloud Mail

Cloud Mail Tasks is a feature that helps you manage and view tasks in your Cloud Mail account so you are organized and on top of your workload. The key activities revolve around accessing the Open Tasks App, allowing users to discover several means of viewing and organizing their tasks to facilitate an efficient way of handling tasks that integrates well with the general Cloud Mail experience for the user.

In this article, we will discuss:

Open Tasks App in Cloud Mail

To open Tasks in Cloud Mail that you've created or if you want to create a new task, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Log in to your email via mail.domain.ext. For example, if your domain name is example.com, you will need to enter mail.example.com in any browser.
  2. On the top-left corner, click on the hamburger icon.

  3. Select Tasks, and the tasks page will show.

View Tasks in Cloud Mail

Cloud Mail Tasks are important as they make our work organized, and there are multiple ways to view each information of the tasks created in Cloud Mail:

Tasks Folder View

To view this, please see Task Components in Cloud Mail and go to the Tasks Folder View section.

Tasks List View

On the Tasks page, you will immediately see the task list view, and you will see the following information:

  • the name of the selected tasks
  • the number of tasks created in this task list
  • subject
  • status
  • due date
  • progress

Tasks Detail View

To view tasks in Detail view, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Once on the Tasks page, select a task by clicking on it under the Tasks column.

    Note: Double-clicking a specific task will display the information in a window.
  2. Once the tasks detail view shows up, you will see the following information:
     
    • the task's subject
    • the task’s reminder date, if set
    • the categories assigned
    If the task is recurring, recurrence parameters will be displayed:
    • the editing status
    • the progress in percentage
    • the due date
    • the start date
    • the definition
    • the billing information
    • attachments
    • the names of the participants
