How Do I Update My WHOIS Contact Information?

You can update your WHOIS contact information in your Account Manager. To understand the importance of keeping your WHOIS information accurate, please visit the ICANN Frequently Asked Questions article.
How to Update Your WHOIS Contact Information in Network Solutions
Below is a step-by-step guide to update your WHOIS details:
- Log in to your account via support.web.com.
- Once logged into your account, click the Domains tile.
- In the Domains column, you can either:

Click the domain, or

Click the drop-down arrow next to the horizontal ellipsis and select Contacts.

Click the Contacts tab to view the WHOIS contacts associated with your domain.Important: If you want your Organization Name to appear as the Registered Name Holder of your domain name, kindly contact us to process your request.

Click the EDIT button. To apply updates to your other contacts, check the appropriate box next to the contact.

In the Edit Registrant Contact form, make any changes to your existing information.

Click the Save Changes button.
You have updated the domain contact details.
Note: If the Registrant information is updated, the primary email address will receive an email to acquire authorization before applying the new email address. This is known as the Change of Registrant (COR) process, which is mandated by ICANN. COR ensures the domain owner does not lose it if someone enters the account without authorization and attempts to change the Registrant's information. Note that updating the Registrant information will result in a 60-day lock on the domain names linked to your account.
