Marketing Hub: Automated Contact Lists

Overview

An automated contact list allows you to categorize your contacts based on details such as birth month, age, job title, company, and more. You would need to search and add specific contacts to your list manually. However, with a "Filter by" option, you can automatically add specific contacts to your list.

How to Add an Automated List

  1. On the left navigation menu of your Ecommerce Dashboard, select Customers.

  2. Once the drop-down menu shows, select List.

  3. In the Email Lists page, click on the Create List button.

  4. The Create New Email List page will show. Select Automated by clicking on the tile and then click the Create List button and you will be redirected to the Automated Email List page.

  5. Enter a name for your list in the Email List Name field.

  6. In the Filter by section, click on Type to show more options in the drop-down menu for you to create an automated list of your contacts by birth month, age, job title, and more.

    Note: You can add another search filter by clicking the + Add Another Search Filter button or delete an existing search filter by clicking the trash icon.

  7. After you've given your list a name and filtered the contacts you want to add, click the Save List button in the top-right corner of the screen.

You have created an automatic list successfully. Your new list will now appear under the Automated List tab.

How to Edit an Automated List

  1. On the left navigation menu of your Ecommerce Dashboard, select Customers.

  2. Once the drop-down menu shows, select List.

  3. In the Email List page, click on the Automated Lists tab.

  4. Once you have chosen which list you want to edit, click on the vertical ellipsis and select Edit List.

  5. Enter the new list name on the field provided once the Edit List page shows up and click Done.

Your automated list's name has been successfully edited or updated.

How to Delete an Automated List

  1. On the left navigation menu of your Ecommerce Dashboard, select Customers.

  2. Once the drop-down menu shows, select List.

  3. In the Email List page, click on the Automated Lists tab.

  4. Once you have chosen which list you want to delete, click on the vertical ellipsis and select Delete List.

  5. A message will show, asking if you wish to delete the selected automated list. To proceed, confirm the deletion to successfully delete the list.
     

You have successfully deleted the automated contact list you chose.
