Setting up a new site backup
- Log in to your account via https://www.networksolutions.com/my-account/login.
- Click Security from the left navigation menu.

- Go to Website Backups, then tap Manage for the website that you would like to set up a backup.

- Tap Manage in the Manage Xcitium section to proceed.

- Click Select Site, then choose the newly added domain from the drop-down to continue the backup setup.

- After the domain is selected, tap Backup to start.

- In step 1, click Backup Settings to continue.

- In the Website Details section, provide the required website details below to successfully connect your new site for backup:

- Website URL: Example:
https://example.org - Conection type: FTP or SFTP
- Username
- Password
- Hostname
- Port: 21 or 22
- Root directory: Connection type’s base folder that holds all your website content. e.g.,
/public_htmlorpublic_html
Note:- Port numbers are automatically set based on the selected connection type (FTP or SFTP).
- If your site is hosted with another provider, verify and update the port settings as needed.
- Website URL: Example:
- Verify the details, then tap Test Connection to confirm it shows Test success. If the result is Test failed, review the information and test again.

Schedule
A setting that allows you to configure recurring backups that run automatically without requiring manual action. In this section, you can define the backup frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly), set the backup start time, and enable or disable scheduled backups.
Notification
A setting that allows you to configure the notifications you want to receive. You can choose Disabled, Enabled, or On Failure from the drop-down menu.
Directory full path
A setting to exclude specific folders from backups. Tap + Add Folder and enter the full path of a directory, and add it to the list. Any files or folders that match the specified paths will not be included in the backup. Click Save to apply the changes.
Extension exclusions
A setting that allows you to exclude specific file types from backups. Tap + Add Extension and enter a file extension (for example, *.jpeg) and add it to the list. Any files that match the specified extensions will not be included in the backup. Click Save to apply the changes.
