Account manager home page for single-domain customers

The account manager home page for single-domain customers has new updates designed to enhance the user experience and guide you through account setup and management. This update introduces two key enhancements to support that goal.
In this article, we will discuss:

Accessing your account manager

To access your account manager, visit the Network Solutions login page. Then, use your Network Solutions credentials to access the account manager's home page. If you're having trouble logging in, visit Forgot login: How to recover your user ID and password.

Important: The credentials are case-sensitive.

After logging in to your account, the home page will show you your account manager's outline and provide the items needed to secure your account.

Completing your Profile card

Your Profile card, featuring your business name, domain name, and email, is essential for establishing your online identity and ensuring a personalized, streamlined experience. Keeping this information accurate helps you manage your services efficiently and build customer trust.

Edit business name 

The profile card on your account manager home page allows you to edit your business name and provide more information about your business. Follow the steps below for instructions on how to edit the business name in the account manager home page.

  1. Click the pen icon beside the default name on the home page.

  2. Rename the business name and provide more information about your business. Click the Submit button.

  3. You have updated the business name. 

 

Manage domain name

The profile card on the account manager home page also has a link that redirects you to the domain detail screen for that domain. See the steps below.

  1. Click the domain link below the business name for more details on the domain.

  2. This page displays the details of your domain name.

Manage Email products

The profile card on the account manager home page has a link to purchase or manage your email. Depending on whether you have an email product in your account, you will see an envelope icon or a Create Email Address link in the profile card.

I don’t have an Email product in my account

  1. Hover the envelope icon and click Connect Email in the profile card. Network Solutions provides the best services for your business, especially email, for a better customer experience.

  2. You can subscribe to our different email services. Choose the best package for your business.

I have an Email product in my account

  1. Click the envelope icon with your email.
    Note: A connected indication will show that you have an email connected if you hover the icon.

The page will direct you to the page where you can set up the email with your Google Workspace.

Completing the Tasks list 

The Task list guides you through essential setup steps to help you get the most out of your Network Solutions account. Each task includes completing your profile, publishing your website, setting up email, turning on domain renewal, and locking your domain. The system marks tasks off to show your progress as you complete them. You can find this under the recommended content section.

Note: The Task list card shows you the tasks you must complete for your profile. A green checkmark icon indicates that a task or item has been completed or verified.

This task helps personalize your account manager experience by collecting more information about your business.  Check this article's Completing your Profile card section for instructions on completing this task.

Finish editing and publishing your website

The system shows this option if you have a draft website. It will take you to the website editor, where you can publish your draft website.

  1. Click the arrow beside the Finish editing and publishing your Website in the Task List card.

  2. The page redirects you to the website editor. Once you have completed building the website, click Update website to make it online.

Alternatively, you can access and manage your website from the home page using the Website card or the Website overview page.

Note: If you don’t have an existing package, visit the Website Builder package, Hosting package, or WordPress dedicated package. You can choose a package that suits your business.

 

Complete your email setup

This option shows if you have not finished setting up Google Workspace or Professional Email. Clicking it redirects you to the email details page, where you can finish setting up your email.

  1. Click the arrow beside Complete your email setup in the Task list card.

  2. For instructions on setting up email, follow the steps indicated in the manage email section of this article.

 

Turn on automatic domain renewal

This option shows if you have not set up the domain's auto-renewal. It is highly recommended that you turn on the auto-renewal of your domain to avoid issues when it is time to renew.

  1. Click the arrow beside Turn on automatic renewal in the Task List card.

  2. To enable the Domain Auto-Renewal, click Continue.

Lock your domain to prevent unauthorized transfers

This option is linked directly to the domain details page, where you can manage your domain lock to avoid unauthorized transfer.

  1. Click the arrow beside Lock your domain to prevent unauthorized transfers in the Task List card.

  2. Click the Turn On button below the Domain Unlocked to activate the domain lock.

Completed task

The image below shows what your Account Manager home page would look like after completing all the suggested tasks in the Task List. The Task List will no longer be available, but will allow you to pick up where you left off.

Launching Website Builder

The website card allows customers to easily access their website builder for quick updates and modifications and to monitor website traffic. It will also show whether your website is in Draft, Published, or Expired status.

Depending on the status of your task, you will see one of two distinct versions of the website card. Here are the two versions of the website card.

The task list is not completed

You can click the Edit site button in the website card to launch the website builder.

You can launch the website builder by clicking the Edit site button on the website card.
