Whom we share app data with

• Members of the Newfold corporate family, including Network Solutions.
• Business partners and vendors that support the NetworkSolutions app and related Network Solutions services.
• Service providers that help provide hosting, authentication, support, payment processing, AI assisted domain suggestions, security, and operational services.
• Domain registries, registrars, ICANN, WHOIS/RDAP providers, and domain related service providers where needed to provide domain registration, renewal, transfer, lookup, and management services.
• Legal and regulatory authorities as required.
• Other parties with your direction, consent, or as described in the full Newfold Digital Privacy Notice.

What the NetworkSolutions app may collect
 

Account and sign in information

• Account identifiers
• Your name, username, and email address
• Authentication tokens and related security information
• Information used to access and manage your Network Solutions account

Domain portfolio and domain service information

This information is retrieved from your Network Solutions account when you use the app.
 

• Domain names in your account
• Expiration dates and renewal status
• Estimated value and portfolio insights
• Domain status, privacy and protection settings, connected services, registrar information, WHOIS/RDAP information, and domain contact details

Domain search and AI Domain Search activity

• Domain search terms
• Business or project descriptions entered into AI Domain Search
• Generated domain suggestions
• Domain availability and pricing results
• Cart selections and related purchase flow information

App activity information

• Information about how you interact with the app, such as the screens you visit and the features you use
• Your in-app search history

Payments

Purchases made through the app, such as domain registrations and renewals, are processed by secure payment systems operated by Network Solutions and its payment service providers. The app itself does not collect or store your payment card information. Records of your transactions and service requests are maintained in your Network Solutions account.

How app data is used
 

• To provide app functionality, including domain search, AI powered domain discovery, WHOIS Lookup, account login, portfolio management, domain overview, and domain related services.
• To authenticate users, protect accounts, detect fraud or abuse, troubleshoot errors, and maintain the security and reliability of the app.
• To process domain registrations, renewals, purchases, cart activity, service requests, support inquiries, and account management actions.
• To improve the app, fix bugs, and develop new or improved Network Solutions services.
• To communicate with users about account activity, transactions, service messages, support, security, product updates, and, where permitted, marketing or promotional messages.
• To comply with applicable laws, registrar and registry requirements, ICANN or WHOIS/RDAP obligations, dispute resolution processes, legal requests, tax, accounting, compliance, and security requirements.

AI Domain Search
 

When you use AI Domain Search, the app may process the business or project description you enter in order to generate domain suggestions. Do not enter sensitive personal information, confidential information, payment details, passwords, or information you do not want processed as part of an AI assisted feature.

Domain registration, WHOIS, and RDAP information
 

Certain domain registration information may be processed or made available in connection with registrar, registry, ICANN, WHOIS, or RDAP obligations. Availability of domain contact information may depend on privacy and protection settings, applicable law, registrar policies, registry rules, and domain service requirements.

Security
 

Newfold Digital and Network Solutions use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These include encryption of personal information in transit using industry standard protocols such as TLS (HTTPS), access controls, security monitoring, and vendor controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so users should also protect their account credentials and device access.

Account and data deletion
 

You may request deletion of your Network Solutions account and the data associated with it at any time through your Network Solutions account settings on the web or through the Newfold Privacy Center. When your account is deleted, we also delete the user data associated with it, except for records we are required or permitted to retain as described below.

Data retention
 

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the app and related Network Solutions services, maintain account records, comply with legal and domain registration obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and maintain security.

Some domain registration, transaction, security, support, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or compliance records may need to be retained even after an account deletion or privacy request where required or permitted by law or domain service obligations.

User choices and privacy rights
 

Users may manage account information through their Network Solutions account where available, request account and data deletion as described above, and submit privacy rights requests through the Newfold Privacy Center. Privacy rights may vary by location and applicable law.

Children's privacy
 

The app is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

Third party links and app stores
 

The app or this page may link to third party websites, app stores, or services. Those third parties may have their own privacy practices, and users should review their privacy notices.

Changes to this policy
 

We may update this NetworkSolutions App Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice where required by law.
